Fernando Barba is the artistic director of the legendary Brazilian body music group Barbatuques. For anyone interested in learning body music, or deepening your expression of rhythm, this workshop is not to be missed. Barbatuques headlined the International Body Music Festival last year and electrified the festival.
There will be two classes on Tuesday December 8th, one at 6:30pm for "intermediate" students with some experience with rhythm and/or body music, and the other at 8:00pm for all levels. Both will be held at 2509 Myrtle St in West Oakland. Only $15 a class, or $25 for both. More details are available at BateriaLucha.org.
